10th July 2018, 26 Syawal 1439H Seeking Forgiveness ( إستغفار ) Istighfar ( إستغفار ) is an arabic word which means, " asking for Allah's forgiveness " It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas that : the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever persists in asking for forgiveness, Allah will grant him relief from every worry, and a way out from every hardship, and will grant him provision from (sources) he could never imagine." Surat Al-Baqarah  (The Cow), Chapter 2, Verse 30: "And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority (caliph)."
