11th April 2018, 24 Rejab 1439H Jizyah This verse only relate to the state of war situation only when enemy came to attack your country, not when country in peace. It is muslims obligation to provide safety and protection to the people in their countries including the non muslims. Muslims also have to refund the jizyah, when they believe that they cannot protect the non muslims or they will defeat in war. Surat At-Tawbah  (The Repentance), Chapter 9, Verse 29: " Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." 14 March 2018, 26 Jamadilakhir 1439H Jihad  ( جهاد ) The definition:  جهاد Jihad means "struggling" or "striving" to shift from one condition to a better condition for the sake of Allah. For example: 1.  Diplomatic Deal with the tyrant ruler Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah bepleased with him) reported : The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best type of Jihad (striving in the way of Allah) is speaking a true word in the presence of a tyrant ruler." [ Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi ] . Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The best fighting (jihad) in the path of Allah is (to speak) a word of justice to an oppressive ruler.
