Travel is encourage in Islam as mentioned in Quran. Muslim should travel, for the sake of Allah to open our mind, see Allah's creations, the history of the country and the people, making new friends, get to know the culture, the food and many more.

It is highly encourage for the traveler to determine the prayer times before we travel to any country. So that we can tell the daytime and night time of any particular city. As a traveler, we want to see things during the daytime and having rest at night. Since Malaysia is at the Equator, so the prayer times in is slightly constant for the whole year. Living with the locals is the best way to understand and to observe muslim lifestyle. You can book couchsurfing for free accommodation at local house with muslim host. However, muslims may not be perfect. But the religion, Islam is perfect. Always take Prophet Muhammad PBUH as the best role model of muslim and benchmark of Islam.
