Deviation

Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Chapter 2, Verse 213:

"Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path." (Quran 2:213)

It was reported from Awf ibn Maalik who said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"The Jews were divided into seventy-one sects,
one of which is in Paradise and seventy are in the Fire.

The Christians were divided into seventy-two sects,

seventy-one of which are in the Fire and one is in Paradise.

By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad,

my Ummah will be divided into seventy-three sects,
one of which will be in Paradise and seventy-two will be in the Fire."

It was said, O Messenger of Allaah, who are they?

He said, "Al-Jamaa’ah."

(Sunan Ibn Maajah, no. 3982.)

Surat An-Nisā' (The Women), Chapter 4, Verse 44:

"Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, purchasing error [in exchange for it] and wishing you would lose the way?" (Quran 4:44)

Surat 'Āli `Imrān (Family of Imran), Chapter 3, Verse 103:

"And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided." (Quran 3:103)

"Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah ; then He will inform them about what they used to do." (Quran 6:159)

"O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result."
(Quran 4:59)

There are many sects in Judaism and Christianity. They have different version of Bible. As for Islam, eventhough they are sects, but we still have 1 version of Quran, Mushaf Uthmani. Muslims perform obligatory prayer 5 times a day. In our prayer, we memorize and recite the same Surah Al Fatihah (in arabic), of Chapter 1 from Quran. We asked guidance from Allah more than 17 times in a day.

Surat Al-Fātiĥah (The Opener), Chapter 1, Verse 1-7:

"In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds -
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
Guide us to the straight path -
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray." (Quran 1: 6-7)

May Allah guide to to the straight path. The path that He accept only. So that, we will be save from eternal hellfire, but be in paradise of Allah.

Surat 'Āli `Imrān (Family of Imran), Chapter 3, Verse 64:

"Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah ." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]." (Quran 3:64)
